What is the breakfast menu?
The food was good, I was surprised of finding a Latin restaurant in the mountains lol. Great food, I had their Fajita Texana.
MoreGreat food, specifically the arroz con pollo. Everyone was extremely friendly. It will be one of our βgo toβ spots.
MoreGood food , friendly service. Would definitely go back .
The food was great! Me and my parents went there for breakfast twice and dinner once, I have nothing to complain about, even the corn tortillas were delicious. They provided great service and very friendly people. We will be sure to come back whenever we visit blowing rock.
MoreOmgdness delish! Whether meat & 3 or mexican dishes! Everything homemade. Many specials and daily delights. I will def be back!
MoreGreat food, great staff, great setting. One of our local faves!
Real good Finally a place at this good location that could last. No beer sales YET but hard working pleasant owner doing all she can to please. We are going once or twice weekly to support her. Everything we have eaten has been good
MoreWe stopped here as a last option because everywhere we wanted to eat was closed on Sunday morning. This place was really good for breakfast. We had two breakfast burritos and a Rincon and all 3 were excellent
MoreGreat food! I want this place to succeed. I never realized Blowing Rock was missing a Mexican place until this one just cropped up. We are so happy to have this right down the road from where we live.Did I mention that the food is great? We eat out almost daily. The Mexican food at this place, from our limited experience at least, is on par with our favorites in Boone. Great portion sizes, properly cooked proteins, fresh vegetables, great sauces, perfect level of seasoning, from-scratch components, etc. They know how to cook.We come often and it seems like it gets better every time. Keep up the good work!
MoreCane in for the weekend and the weβre open for breakfast on Sunday. We were impressed with the service or the food. They messed up several items on the order. Even after one item had to go back. It went back because they put nacho cheese sauce on the omelette. We need to find someplace else next time we are in town.
MoreAwesome experience. Had dinner here and then breakfast the next morning while passing through town.
MoreReally good food. The refried beans homemade not from a can. Fried flounder crispy, great coleslaw. Sweet waitress.
MoreThis place has homemade I mean homemade tres latches cake it is the best I have ever had. Wonderful awesome people. I recommend this place to all. The prices are great and a big portions for the price. I love the Mexican and American part. You can get a taco and country fried steak all in the same place. Awesome.
MoreThis is a great little place that is easy to miss but definitely shouldn't be! The food is amazing and the owner it's so sweet! This was our first of many trips to come. You have to try the homemade tres leche (three milk) cake! It's so delicious!
MoreThe service was ok, but the amount of food that you get for the money was not worth it at all. The refried beens had the most flavor of anything i had on my plate. The rest was very bland. Very over priced for what you get.
MoreVery good. Biggest baretto have ever seen. B2 on menu.
Food very good wide variety friendly efficient staff
Fast service and tasty breakfast, would definitely recommend.
Good hospitality. It was busy, but it didn't take long for us to be seated. Great breakfast at a very affordable price, and they serve fast. Loved it!
MoreVery nice brunch/lunch place. I had pancakes and they were very good but the best thing of all is that they have livermush! And they did a good job on that!
MoreFriendly staff fantastic food. Be back very soon
The service was terrible and the food not much better! They brought 1 basket of broken chips and salsa, and took our drink order, which was 4 waters. Ten minutes later, they took our order. Still no waters! We reminded them again of our drink order. Ten minutes later they brought our food. We then had to remind them again of our drink order. They finally brought it. The food was not authentic Mexican food. The chicken was over cooked, the queso was very liquidy. Half the items on the menu were American food items. My wife order shrimp cooked with no oils, and they charged us $2 more cooked with no oil? We talked to the cashier about it and they did take the charge off. Therefore, the 1 star! Head to Boone or Wilkesboro for real Mexican food and service.
MoreI would give more than 5stars if I could. They went out of their way to make me a club sandwich and fries during breakfast time bc I just came off my night shift and wanted dinner. Great food. Friendly staff, really goes above and beyond. Definitely recommend
MoreThis restaurant is awesome. I have known Leticia for several years and she has exceeded all expectations. They are doing delivery and take out now. Please support Leticia and all local businesses now.
MoreOnly ate breakfast here, but it was so good we went back a second time. Excellent coffee! The scrambled eggs, cooked apples, grits were all great, but the country ham was special, possibly the best I've ever eaten. Plus it was a full slice....most places only serve a half slice. Price (for breakfast at least) was extremely reasonable.
MoreHighly recommend the breakfast nachos. Ate breakfast here many times while vacationing.
MoreIf you want terrible gas and stomach pains after eating I highly recommend this place!
MoreTerrible experience. We went to this restaurant after arriving into town and they were the only restaurant not on a wait (now I know why). The chips and salsa didnβt taste fresh to begin with, but the worst was being charged for 2 large margaritas ($23) after telling them immediately after the first sip they were not good at all. It tasted like sweet and sour mix only and not even a good one. The restaurant owner refused to take it off our bill and we didnβt even drink more than the first sip. The one shot of tequila in each surely didnβt cost her $23 so it was truly terrible customer service to not take those off the bill if we were not satisfied (or even half). We also ordered the chicken tenders with a side salad for our son and ended up taking it to go and tossing it, it didnβt even look edible. What a waste of money. Stay clear.
MoreAbsolutely love it..great service, great food..wonderful atmosphere..highly recommend it
MoreI ordered the eggs Benedict Florentine and it came out ice old, and the eggs were overcooked. It was awful! They replaced the Benedict with eggs over medium and then still charged me the cost of the eggs Benedict. I wouldnβt come back. Awful food and service.
MoreFood was truly excellent and the owner was a delight to talk to. Other staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend.
MoreThe hostess was walking around not wearing a mask. When asked to do so, twice, she refused. I will be calling the local health department. Eat here at your own risk. If she doesn't wear a mask, who knows if she makes her employees was their hands. Note in her reply she is lying again. Her register was directly behind my booth, within 3 feet. There was no plastic shield between them, that I could see.. Also, at least twice she was scooting around the restaurant without a mask. It is her choice to comply with the state mandate or not. It is my business as a paying customer to expect full compliance, just as I expect her employees to wash their hands. Her remark about me staying home is just what I'd expect from someone so irresponsible. Stay away, folks, this is not a safe restaurant.
MoreThe breakfast is DELICIOUS!!! Had it delivered and absolutely incredible. Definitely recommending to EVERYONE I know in the High Country Area.
MoreThis place charges $75 to remove a wheel clamp when you park your car in their lot. I was passing through to buy a cup of coffee across the street. The name of their restaurant is not mentioned on the warning sign, so I assumed this lot was available for the retail area around it. Not a single customer in the restaurant. Awesome experience. This is how Blowing Rock attracts business apparently... not really.Read your response. Without clearly mentioning the name of your restaurant and the penalty on your signs, you are on very weak legal ground. Also, with zero customers in your parking lot, there was no harm done by parking my vehicle there. Very petty and unnecessary to charge me $75. Nothing was available near the coffee shop.On another note: please urge your staff to all wear a face mask. There is a pandemic going on.
MoreWe had the best breakfast! I had French toast and cheese eggs and crispy bacon and it was delish! I have been coming to the same place for years and this new ownership was a welcomed change because this year far outweighed the rest! It was so good we came back for dinner and it was great too! The staff is very welcoming, super friendly and fast. Highly recommend!
MoreVery good! Queso was a little liquid and rice was kinda overcooked but it tasted great and the people were very nice and social distanced.
MoreDelicious food, great service, super sweet owner. Clean area, nice decorations. A great place for a meal!
MoreWe had gone to this restaurant at 7:45 for dinner and the waiter had said that they had just cleaned the grills. We looked at there website and it said that they did not close till 8:00!
MoreGreat atmosphere, kind staff and great food!
Its all right had better
Super tasty classic American breakfast! Even though the lunch and dinner menu has changed to a Mexican cuisine, I was delighted to visit one of our favorite breakfast places while in Blowing Rock. ...eggs, pancakes, biscuits, yummy!
MoreGreat tacos and guacamole mexicano!! I did have something wrong with my to go order once but the owner was happy to fix things! If you have problems there ask for the owner!!!!! Just FYI
MoreFood was amazing and authentic. We loved it and would definitely eat here again!
Unexpected treasure with unbeatable service in a warm and inviting setting. Authentic Mexican food; homemade corn tortillas and sopapilla are a must. Would eat here again and again. Highly recommend
MoreStill serve breakfast with both traditional and Mexican menu items. Always flexible and accommodating of large parties. Friendly hard-working servers.
MoreThis place was really good! We remembered they were building it last time we visited so decided to see if it was open this time and we were glad it was.We will definitely be back!
MoreThis Texan was craving some good Mexican food. Definitely hit the spot. Clean facility, friendly staff. Owner was working and a delight to visit with. Reasonable prices.
MoreGreat food! Always a friendly staff to greet and serve. Breakfast is always great. Have both Mexican and American entrees..
MoreFood was very good but staff was not correctly masking, and didn't comply even after two requests.
